At the beginning of the disc, you're tossed into a Bukue One freestyle with all the crowd interaction trimmings. The vibe is accapella, and very much worth getting excited about the disc impending. The first studio track sounds out of the speaker are a light piano flake. Mostly percussion, and all of a sudden you're in the middle of a flowing hip hop song. Vocally, Bukue is neutral toned like Q-Tip, but with a bit more of controlled speed. Track six for instance, "Everyday" has an Eyedea like feel. Often times, an organ beat sound type vibe make for an appealing album as well. Track nine is the best upbeat mix with a bouncy clean type guitar stroke, and meaty breakbeat exemplify the soul of this release. Though not the hip hop setter for me this year, Intromission is certainly a solid top five pick, with lots of potential for a better future release. The quality is a bit shy, but the sweat you can imagine that went into this recording must have been as genuine as possible. Anyone that passionate, can feed me a CD to chance.
